1. Training Objectives
1.1. General objective:
To train bachelors in aquaculture with political qualities, professional ethics, good health, professional knowledge, practical skills on aquaculture, and the ability to study and research on their own. bring into full play intellectual skills, professional skills, digital skills, soft skills and entrepreneurial skills. Creating high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of domestic and international economic and social development in the fisheries sector
1.2. Detail goal:
1.2.1. About knowledge
(1) Understanding the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws and policies;
(2) State and analyze the role and identification characteristics of some aquatic organisms in water bodies and analyze the application of microorganisms in aquaculture;
(4) Describe the method of determining and managing a number of environmental indicators; analyze and evaluate measures to manage a number of environmental factors in aquaculture;
(5) Present the biological characteristics and analyze the technological process of seed production and commercial farming of some aquatic species with economic value; Analyze techniques for transporting live aquatic animals.
(6) Analyze general preventive measures, methods of diagnosis and treatment of some common diseases in aquatic animals;
(7) Present and analyze the principles of food preparation and use; use of biological products; drugs, chemicals; equipment, laboratory instruments and equipment specialized in aquaculture;
(8) Present measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene in aquaculture;
(9) Have knowledge of English at level 2/6 of Vietnam's foreign language competency framework; have basic knowledge of English specialized in Aquaculture;
(10) Having computer knowledge reaching the basic level of information technology application.
1.2.2 About skills
(1) To strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws and policies;
(2) Identify some species of aquaculture animals, some aquatic organisms in water bodies and apply microorganisms in aquaculture;
(3) Identify and manage some environmental factors in aquaculture;
(4) Proficiently implement and explain the technological process of hatchery production, commercial rearing of some aquatic animals with economic value, and carry out the safe transportation of live aquatic animals, effective;
(5) Apply general preventive measures; diagnose and treat a number of common diseases in farmed aquatic animals;
(6) Food preparation and use; be able to use a number of biological products, drugs, chemicals, equipment, tools and specialized equipment in aquaculture to ensure safety and efficiency;
(7) Operate and manage production and business in small and medium-sized aquaculture establishments;
(8) Ensuring occupational safety and hygiene in aquaculture and proficient swimming;
(9) Have English proficiency level 2/6 of Vietnam's foreign language competency framework; read and understand English documents specialized in Aquaculture;
(10) Having computer skills reaching the basic level of information technology application.
1.2.3. Autonomy and responsibility
(1) Working independently or in a team, solving complex problems and problems in changing working conditions;
(2) Take individual and group responsibility before the leaders of agencies, organizations and enterprises;
(4) Guiding and supervising other people to perform defined tasks;

1.3. Job position after graduation
After graduating from the College of Aquaculture, learners can take up job positions at the following establishments:
(1) Management and production at hatcheries and aquaculture farms;
(2) Producing and trading in aquatic feed manufacturing enterprises and factories;
(3) Technical consulting, business and service at veterinary - aquatic products;
(4) Managers and specialists at state management agencies at all levels in the field of aquaculture.
2. Knowledge volume and course duration:
- Number of subjects and modules: 26
- Amount of knowledge and skills of the whole course: 80 credits
- Volume of general subjects: 20 credits
- Volume of subjects, specialization modules: 60 credits
- Theoretical volume: 470 hours; Practice, practice, experiment: 1675 hours

4. Instructions for using the program
4.1. Compulsory general subjects are developed and promulgated by the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs in collaboration with other ministries/sectors.
4.2. Guidelines for determining the content and timing of extracurricular activities:
In addition to studying at schools and training institutions, students practice and practice at centers, production enterprises, and production households on aquaculture.
The skills of working independently and in groups of students are formed through activities of the Youth Union, exercises and topics of modules/subjects.
4.3. Instructions for organizing exams for all subjects and modules:
The time to organize the exam for the end of subjects and modules should be organized according to the general plan of the University, determined by each academic year and semester, specifically built in the training plan of each course. Implementation is guaranteed. According to Circular 09/2017 of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs on organizing the implementation of training programs in the form of module accumulation, credits and regulations on examination, examination and graduation.
4.4. Instructions for considering graduate workers:
- Learners must complete the college-level training program and must accumulate enough modules or credits as prescribed in the training program.
- The school principal shall base on the accumulated results of the learners to decide on the recognition of graduation immediately for the learners.
- The school principal shall base on the results of the graduation assessment to grant the diploma and recognize the title of practicing engineer or practicing bachelor according to the regulations of the school.
