1. Training Objectives

1.1. General objective:

Training high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of domestic and international economic and social development in the field of fisheries; achieve college degree, have political qualities, professional ethics, good health; professional knowledge and practical skills on aquaculture; at the same time have the ability to self-study and research to improve their skills.

1.2. Detail goal:

1.2.1. About knowledge

(1) Understanding the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws and policies;

(2) Analyze the roles, identifying characteristics of some aquatic organisms in aquaculture and evaluate the application of microorganisms in aquaculture;

          (3) Presenting methods for determining and managing a number of environmental indicators; analyze the causes and propose measures to manage changes in some environmental factors in aquaculture water;

          (4) Presenting the method of operating the automatic aquaculture environment monitoring system;

          (5) Present the biological characteristics, technical requirements of the aquaculture project and analyze the technological process of seed production and commercial farming of some aquatic species with economic value; analyze and compare advantages and disadvantages of techniques for transporting live aquatic animals;

         (6) Analysis of the operating principle of the high-tech aquaculture process (Biofloc, aquaculture in a recirculating system (RAS)); compare the advantages and disadvantages of the high-tech aquaculture process with the technical process of traditional aquaculture;

         (7) Analyze general preventive measures, methods of diagnosis and treatment of some common diseases in aquatic animals;

         (8) Present and analyze the principles of food preparation and use; use of biological products and chemicals in aquaculture;

         (9) Present and analyze the principles of preparation and use of laboratory instruments and equipment and specialized equipment in aquaculture;

         (10) Present measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene in aquaculture;

         (11) Having knowledge of English at level 3/6 of Vietnam's foreign language competency framework; have basic knowledge of English specialized in Aquaculture;

         (12) Having computer knowledge reaching the standard level of skills in using information technology as prescribed by the Ministry of Information and Communications.

1.2.2. About skills

(1) To strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws and policies;

(2) Accurately classify some species of farmed aquatic animals and some aquatic organisms in aquaculture and apply microorganisms in aquaculture;

          (3) Quickly, accurately identify and manage a number of environmental factors in aquaculture;

          (4) Proficiently operate the automatic aquaculture environment monitoring system;

          (5) Proficiently implementing the technological process of seed production, commercial farming of a number of aquatic animals of economic value, and safely and efficiently transporting live aquatic animals;

          (6) Apply high-tech aquaculture process (Biofloc, aquaculture in recirculating system (RAS)) into production practice, save resources, create safe and hygienic products food;

           (7) Flexible and effective application of integrated disease prevention measures; accurately diagnose and effectively treat a number of common diseases in farmed aquatic animals;

           (8) Process and manage feed in aquaculture;

          (9) Select and use a number of biological products and chemicals used in aquaculture to ensure safety and effectiveness;

            (10) Select and use a number of tools and equipment used in aquaculture to ensure safety and efficiency;

 (11) Effectively manage production and business situation in small and medium-sized aquaculture establishments;

            (12) Ensuring occupational safety and hygiene in aquaculture;

            (13) Have English proficiency level 3/6 of Vietnam's foreign language competency framework equivalent to B1 certificate; read and understand English documents specialized in Aquaculture;

            (14) Having computer skills reaching the standard level of skills in using information technology as prescribed by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
