Joining the jubilant atmosphere of the nationwide “Back to School Day”, millions of teachers, pupils, and students across the country embark on a new journey of knowledge and discovery. Following the guidance of the Bac Ninh Department of Education and Training, this morning, the College of Economics, Technology, and Fisheries solemnly held the Opening Ceremony for the 2025–2026 academic year at the Main Hall. The ceremony took place in a warm and dignified atmosphere, attended by numerous distinguished guests, partners, faculty members, staff, and students of the College.
Following the Flag Salute Ceremony, the Organizing Committee respectfully introduced the honored guests and received beautiful bouquets of flowers sent to congratulate the College.
Next, Mr. Thái Thanh Bình, Vice Rector of the College, solemnly read the Letter from the State President Lương Cường addressed to the education sector on the occasion of the new academic year. The letter’s meaningful messages, filled with responsibility and expectations, served as a source of motivation for teachers and students to enter the new school year with stronger determination.
In her opening speech, Ms. Bùi Thị Hạnh, Party Secretary and Rector of the College, highlighted the remarkable achievements of the 2024–2025 academic year while reaffirming the College’s orientation for 2025–2026: a steadfast commitment to improving training quality, strengthening cooperation with enterprises, promoting digital transformation in management and teaching, and building a disciplined, high-quality, and globally integrated educational environment. The collective sense of responsibility, professionalism, and solidarity among the faculty continues to serve as the foundation for future breakthroughs.
The opening ceremony was also an occasion for the College to commend and reward students who excelled in their studies and personal development during the previous academic year. In addition, special support gifts were presented to students facing difficult circumstances (in collaboration with the Youth Union of Từ Sơn Ward), along with motivational awards for outstanding academic achievements (sponsored by JHL Group – Phương Linh Branch). These meaningful gestures carried a strong message of compassion, encouraging students to strive for success.
A representative of the college-level students also delivered a heartfelt speech, expressing sincere gratitude to the teachers and promising to make continuous efforts to uphold and honor the College’s proud traditions.
In harmony with the nationwide back-to-school spirit, the College’s community also watched the live broadcast on VTV1 celebrating the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training) and the opening of the 2025–2026 academic year. This historic milestone deepened the teachers’ and students’ awareness of their mission to innovate, create, and integrate in the new era.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, students returned to their classrooms, where homeroom teachers briefed them on school regulations and the educational plan for the new academic year. A new journey begins with faith and aspirations: every lesson marks a step forward, every project connects with real-life practice, and every student grows in both knowledge and character.
The College sincerely thanks all agencies, organizations, and enterprises for their companionship, parents for their trust, and teachers and students for their joint efforts in preserving and nurturing the core values of the College of Economics, Technology, and Fisheries. The College stands ready for a new chapter—steady, professional, and full of ambition.
