Research on the parasite (parasite) Nematopsis sp. on bivalve molluscs farmed mainly in Quang Ninh (clam, Pacific oysters (TBD), estuary oysters, Ben Tre clams) was carried out from June 2020 to July 2022. Phase 1 from June 2020 - May 2021, phase 2 from July 2021 - July 2022. Sampling frequency of the first phase is 10 farming households/object/month, the second phase collects samples at households selected as a breeding model for testing measures to prevent diseases and pests on cultured mollusks. Total samples of TBD oysters and estuarine oysters studied were 435 samples/subject; Ben Tre clams, price clams tested 450 heads/object. As a result, there were 3 subjects infected with Nematopsis sp. are price clams, TBD oysters, estuary oysters; Ben Tre clams were not infected. The highest infection rate of subjects was 100%, the highest infection intensity in estuarine oysters was 379 cysts/cm2 gills, infection months from October last year to April next year. Severely infected clams and oysters show signs of white spots and blisters on gills and mantle; Infected clams and oysters with scurvy, growth retardation, and death at the time of high infection. The solution to prevention is to choose varieties, choose a farming location, reduce the stocking density, choose the season, and eliminate the enemies during the rearing process.
