Koi (Cyprinus carpio haematopterus) fish samples collected in Hanoi and Bac Ninh, from October 2019 to December 2020, fish size from lOg - to 500g. The results of parasitological research on Koi fish have detected some species of ectoparasites on the skin, fins and gills of fish as follows: Ichthyophthyrius multiBliis. infection rate 10.2% infection intensity (2-32 worms/10x10), Trichodina sp infection rate 3.6% infection intensity (1-13 worms/lOxlO), Gyrodactykis sp infection rate 17.3% infection intensity (1-18 worms/lOxlO), Argulus chinensis infection rate 4.9% infection intensity (2-7 worms/fish), Lemaea sp infection rate 4.4% infection intensity (1-7 worms /fish). Fish disease from September of the previous year to April of the following year. Survey results of 30 Koi farming and trading households show that stocking density and water management regime affect the likelihood of fish getting sick. Preventive measures are periodically changing the water, periodically disinfecting the water and adding probiotics to help limit the disease, initially reaching a survival rate of over 90% . The treatment method using some chemicals such as salt, formaline, praziquantel, mentine effectively cures the disease, the survival rate offish is over 80%.
