Sipunculus nudus is a marine delicacy with high economic value, great medical value and can be exported, but its natural resources have been exhausted. Successful production of artificial varieties of sea worms will create a basis for sea worm farming in Quang Ninh and some other coastal provinces such as Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Ba Ria Vung Tau to develop, create jobs, increase income for coastal people, reduce pressure on natural seaworm exploitation and serve to preserve resources. In addition, sea worms are species with a short food chain, eat organic detritus, and are environmentally friendly, thus minimizing the risk of polluting the pond environment.
